My passion is working with couples, the crux of any family system. I utilize Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I have a particular interest in pre-marital, pre-engagement, and relationship preparedness/individual skill-building stages of relationships. My treatment approaches include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Play therapy, Expressive Therapy and Family Systems Therapy (FST).

Areas of Competence
Provides therapy for individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), families and couples. I have experience in community public mental health where I have treated individuals who have struggled with anxiety, depression, sexual and/or physical trauma, and relationships issues/struggles. I have experience working with individuals, families, military members and their dependents, children/youth in school settings. I have facilitated and co-facilitated support groups for trauma; both adult and adolescents.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College (2012) after serving in the US Air Force from 2003-2010. I completed my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington in 2016. I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and Association for Play Therapy.
